Project goal

The original goal set by the university course was to use any object and create a render as similar looking as possible. Liking the style of the model I created a moody scene to showcase the model.

Progression

The first step was to take reference shots and measurements to accurately create the geometry. After replicating the lightsetup of the original shot in Blender the next steps were the creation of procedural materials and texturepainting additional specific details. The last step of the mandatorypart was rendering and compositing. The original and the final result are displayed side by side.

After the completion of this task I used a rigged character from Blenderkit to create a dimly lit scene remenicent of adventure movies.
